Your core responsibilities will span the full operational picture:
Scheduling and load balancing to meet customer demand and delivery targets
Maintaining accurate data and using it to drive real decisions
Engaging with Supervisors on work prioritisation and resource allocation
Working with clients to ensure requirements are understood and met
Driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost and delivery
HSE compliance is non-negotiable. You will work with advisors to maintain standards, act on issues promptly, and make sure every person on site goes home in the same condition they arrived.
On the people side, you will be managing a multi-level team. Getting the best out of them through clear direction, proper development plans, and an environment where improvement is the norm is as central to this role as any operational metric.
To be considered, you will need:
Solid experience in a similar production or operations management role within a technical or engineering environment
A track record of leading and motivating large teams through change
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
Proficiency in MS Office and confident working with production-related IT systems
Experience using Visual Management and confidence to make appropriate changes if necessary
The performance framework is straightforward: safety incidents, first pass yield, On Time Delivery, equipment uptime. If you are used to managing against metrics that actually mean something, you will be comfortable within this structure.
