We have an exciting opportunity for Design Engineers to join an established company within the construction industry. Due to company growth, this multi site business is looking for a Design Engineer to join their growing design team based in Newton Abbott, Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile design projects with industry leaders, and work for an organization who values and supports their staff. Package: £35,000 to £45,000 dependant on experience. Fully onsite role based in Newton Abbott, Devon Free onsite parking Pension contribution 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) The Design Engineer role: Produce 3D models and drawings using Tekla. Liaise with different members of the business, including engineers, fabricators and project managers. Ensure that the designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards, as well as meeting client requirements. Assist with delivering projects in a timely manner adhering to a high standard. The ideal Design Engineer: Previous experience as a Design Engineer, Tekla Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, Product Development Engineer or other design based roles. Experience with Design software, including Tekla, Solidworks or Autocad (Tekla is preferred but not essential) A background in bulk material handling or quarry plant design. Not essential but preferred. Must be commutable to Newton Abbott, Devon
