Overview
You will be based within our domestic abuse refuge accommodation as an integral part of the support offered to victims and children who have fled abuse. You will be required to ensure that the accommodation is fit for purpose, meets health and safety requirements and is safe at all times as well as ensuring that the security measures of the accommodation sites are maintained and upheld at all times in line with agreed procedures/protocols.
Responsibilities
* Maintain safety and security of accommodation sites in line with agreed procedures and protocols.
* Ensure the accommodation is fit for purpose and compliant with health and safety requirements at all times.
* Provide support to victims and children who have fled abuse as part of the refuge accommodation team.

About Black Country Women’s Aid
Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking. Services are client- and needs-led and include advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to therapeutic interventions. Accommodation services include 24hr access refuge, dispersed accommodation, resettlement support, access to Victim Safety Adviser post departure, access to community services, and safe houses for victims of modern-day slavery. The Domestic Abuse Accommodation Service provides 24-hour emergency accommodation and manages 41 units across the Black Country with bespoke, client-led support.
