Legal Counsel – IP, Commercial & Litigation
Are you a motivated lawyer looking for your next challenge? My client is looking for someone to lead on legal disputes and help manage commercial contracts and intellectual property. You’ll work across the business, tackling interesting legal issues and making a real impact.
Role responsibilities
* Manage IP and commercial contract work: You’ll oversee intellectual property matters, including trademarks and other IP rights, and draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts. Your input will help the business operate efficiently while protecting its interests.
* Collaborate across the business: You’ll act as a trusted legal advisor to internal teams, providing practical guidance and ensuring compliance. You’ll also coordinate with external lawyers and stakeholders to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
Candidate requirements
* A qualified lawyer with experience in commercial contracts and IP, and ideally some litigation experience, gained either in private practice or in-house.
* Open to professionals outside financial services who are interested in moving into fintech and gaining exposure to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
* Confident and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal colleagues.
* A strategic thinker who can anticipate issues and provide practical solutions that balance risk and opportunity.
