The Opportunity
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Ecommerce Data & Insights Manager to join our EU eCommerce team in London, UK. This is a permanent position and will report to the Head of eCommerce & Insights.
This role focuses on transforming online, category, and shopper data into clear, actionable insights that drive commercial planning and digital growth. The Senior eCommerce Data & Insights Manager will review performance across all key platforms—including DTC, marketplaces, and eRetailers—and deliver strategic recommendations to support category development and omnichannel excellence. The role is highly cross-functional, working closely with teams across the business to unlock growth opportunities through data-led decision-making.
Insight Generation & Category Strategy Support
1. Analyse eCommerce performance data across channels using tools such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Pacvue, 1DS, Euromonitor, Dexi, CIQ, SimilarWeb. Identify trends in shopper behaviour, market dynamics, and digital shelf performance to guide decision-making. Ability to connect data insights to broader business strategy and commercial goals Build compelling insight-led narratives for internal stakeholders and retail partners.
Omnichannel Strategy Development & Execution
2. Develop and implement data-driven omnichannel strategies based on customer behaviour, competitive landscape, and digital shelf performance. Conduct competitive benchmarking using external data sources to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
3. Lead the upward reporting of omnichannel performance across the EU, providing regular updates and executive-ready reports and presentations. Own CIQ Success Scorecard, tracking KPIs on digital shelf health, share of search, content compliance, and conversion rates. Ensure consistency and quality of reporting by reporting data accuracy issues across platforms and vendors.
Competitive & Pricing Intelligence
4. Monitor competitor activity and pricing across channels to identify risks and opportunities. Deliver pricing and promotional analysis to inform strategy and ensure competitiveness across channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
5. Work closely with sales, marketing, media, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on eCommerce and omnichannel objectives. Identify and recommend process improvements that streamline insight delivery and enhance category decision-making. Foster a data-led culture by sharing tools, dashboards, and best practices across teams.
The Skills you will bring to the team
6. 5+ years in ecommerce insights and digital analytics
7. Deep understanding of eCommerce ecosystems including DTC, marketplaces, and eRetailers
8. Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualisation tools such as Power BI/Tableau
9. Proven ability to distil insights from data and communicate them effectively across teams
10. Experience in omnichannel strategy and performance optimisation
11. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (insightful data presentations, storytelling to bring analysis to life)
