Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary and middle schools in and around Verwood who are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of settings. We have opportunities available for both longer-term placements and ad hoc / day-to-day roles, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety, are passionate about supporting children, and are happy to travel to local schools when required.
Position Details:
* Role: Teaching Assistant
* Location: Verwood and surrounding areas
* School Types: Primary and middle schools
* Start Date: Immediate and ongoing
* Contract: Long-term placements and ad hoc supply
* Pay: Paid to scale, paid weekly via PAYE
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
* Is confident supporting pupils in the classroom, small groups or 1:1
* Is happy to support across primary and middle school settings
* Can drive (preferred) to travel to local schools
* Has a DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or is happy to apply through Teaching Personnel
* Brings a positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
