​ Job reference 322854 Transformation Change Lead - South West Competitive salary plus £4200 Car allowance or £3700 as cash via payroll each month (£308.33) plus Healthcare, 18% annual bonus potential with 27.5 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 10 years service Permanent, Full time Office Location: EX, TQ, TR and PL An exciting opportunity has arisen as Royal Mail embarks on one of it’s most challenging Transformations in its history. You will be at the helm of a team comprising Senior Change Deployment Managers and Change Deployment Managers. Your role entails educating, exciting, and coordinating changes throughout an operational pipeline, aiming to realize cost savings, enhance quality, and ensure a seamless transition for the workforce. About the role In this role you’ll • Lead a team of Senior Change Deployment Managers and Change Deployment Managers, delivering change and transformation throughout the operational pipeline.• Be accountable for championing awareness, knowledge gain and desire for change through work packages and approaches to all end users / stakeholders. • Work with field operations, transformation, and project teams central programme experts to ensure that a detailed deployment plan is created along with contingency/risk mitigation planning. • Identifying, monitoring, and managing the risks and issues, related to their work strands/packages, and working with project managers, Senior Change Deployment Manager, and relevant operational stakeholders to identify and deploy suitable mitigation actions. • Support Regional Programme Managers in preparation of project boards to manage upward/downward feed of activity, progress against plan and escalation of any barriers throughout the project/change/revision life cycle. • Create the environment for Project Manager/Change Deployment Managers to grow and develop in their roles, championing the talent agenda and addressing under performance. • Manage, engage and communicate with stakeholders across the project/change/revision – both internally and externally, e.g., Field Operations, Trade Unions, etc About you To excel in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills • Ability to coherently articulate how the project will deliver a coherent element(s) of the Integrated Transformation Plan • Ability to simultaneously manage a set of projects / revisions in various phases of deployment. • Ability to manage activities of the project / revisions with multiple key stakeholders. • Ability to utilise appropriate measurement tools to evaluate the on-going progress and effectiveness of the work- stream/package. • Proven use of programme management and change management methods, tools, and techniques. • Ability to effectively engage, communicate and establish credibility with all levels of the organisation. • Ability to work closely with the entire project and operational teams. Experience: • Proven experience of delivering project work packages to time/cost/quality within an overall project • Proven experience of working in teams/virtual teams in dynamic environments (up to 50 people)• Proven experience of operating at middle management level Next Steps The next stage of the selection process will be a face to face or virtual interview consisting of competency based and role specific questions.
