This is not a narrow, siloed role youll be involved across month-end, transactional finance and process ownership, working closely with senior finance leadership and gaining exposure well beyond a typical Assistant Accountant position. Month-End & Reporting Assist with monthly close activities Prepare journals, accruals and prepayments Complete balance sheet reconciliations Support management accounts and variance analysis Assist with audit and year-end preparation Day-to-Day Finance Operations Manage supplier invoices, reconciliations and payment runs Act as a key contact for supplier queries Maintain accurate and well-controlled financial records Support cashflow-related processes and reporting Process Ownership & Improvement Maintain supplier data and ensure strong controls are in place Investigate and resolve pricing or account discrepancies Support quarterly claims and ensure correct financial treatment Identify areas for improvement and help streamline processes Team Support Work closely with the Head of Finance on priorities and deadlines Provide cover when required to ensure continuity across the function Support wider finance activities as the business evolves What Were Looking For Youre someone who enjoys being involved, takes pride in your work and wants to keep developing.
