Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join the Administration Team, which supports the Older Adult Day Services and Memory Assessment Services. The Older Adult Day Service is a busy and forward-thinking team. Support and supervision will be provided for the successful candidate. The post is for 37.5 hours per week, 6 months fixed term or secondment opportunity. Ideally, the successful candidate will work Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00. It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager this is possible before applying. Applicants who are not employed by an NHS organisation, will receive a fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
* Provide administration support to the Administration Team for the Older Adult Day Services and Memory Assessment Services.
* Use Electronic Patient Records and complete typing and updating patient information.
* Utilise IT programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word, and SystmOne.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a polite telephone manner.

* Knowledge and experience of using IT programs (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, SystmOne).
* Experience with Electronic Patient Records and updating patient information.
