Are you looking for a new role? We are seeking a Full Time Learning Support Assistant to support our young people for 32 hours per week, during term time only.
You will support young people on the catering/hospitality course, primarily cooking lunches for the café with the students.
Cambian Pengwern College is a 52-week placement provision supporting students aged 16-25 with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs, including some challenging behaviours. The college aims to help students gain life skills, qualifications, and confidence for independence. It provides a nurturing, therapeutic environment to support academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
What we need from you:
* Experience within catering
* Hold a hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one
* Flexibility and a passion to develop skills
* Good attitude and understanding of students with learning disabilities
* Driver's license to operate college vehicles – desirable
The successful candidate will provide guidance, support, and encouragement to young people in various settings, including classrooms, educational activities, and off-site events.
