Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. Duties
* Supervise and manage the front-of-house team, ensuring efficient service delivery and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
* Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain high standards of culinary excellence and presentation.
* Train and mentor team members in hospitality best practices, food safety, and customer service skills.
* Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
* Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
* Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area in accordance with health regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with a focus on front-of-house operations.
* Strong supervisory experience, demonstrating effective team management skills.
* Culinary experience is highly desirable, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
* Excellent leadership abilities, with a knack for motivating and developing staff.
* Previous experience in barista roles or hotel settings will be considered an advantage.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.
