Overview
SEN / SEND Tutor, Lincolnshire role at TieTalent. This is a role focused on 1:1 tutoring and mentoring for young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in Lincolnshire. We work to transform the quality of education for vulnerable learners and support tutors with a dedicated team around the child.
What you’ll do
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support learners referred by local authorities and schools with a holistic, trauma-informed tutoring approach
* Plan each tutoring session to meet individual needs and support educational and social-emotional progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress

Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available at cost)
* Two professional references
* You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online work
It is essential that you promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment status
* Engagement as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payment
* No guaranteed set amount of work or expenses coverage
* Company insurance covers the work you do
* Not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
