About the Role


The Regional Business Manager (RBM) for the UK Branded Dermatology Team is responsible for leading and coaching a team of five Institutional Healthcare Specialists (IHS). This role drives regional execution of the UK dermatology strategy, ensuring exceptional customer engagement, high-performance culture, and compliant promotion of specialty dermatology brands.

The RBM plays a pivotal role in launching and expanding Sun Pharma’s UK dermatology portfolio, developing strong relationships with key dermatology stakeholders, and ensuring the team delivers against sales, access, and customer experience objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Team Management


* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of 5 IHS across the region.
* Establish and embed a best-in-class account planning capability, ensuring all IHS develop, execute, and routinely review high-quality strategic account plans.
* Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
* Foster an accountable, motivated, and collaborative team culture aligned with Sunology values.
* Support IHS with complex customer interactions, business planning, and strategic account development.
* Ensure all activities comply with ABPI Code of Practice and internal policies.


Brand & Business Performance


* Deliver regional sales targets and KPIs for the dermatology portfolio.
* Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with national strategy.
* Analyze performance metrics, market trends, and competitor insights to identify opportunities and risks.
* Lead regional account segmentation and prioritisation, ensuring resource deployment is focused on highest-value opportunities.
* Review and challenge IHS account plans to ensure clear objectives, stakeholder mapping, access strategies, and measurable milestones.
* Ensure accurate forecasting and contribute to national planning and resource allocation.


Customer & Stakeholder Engagement


* Build and maintain strong relationships with dermatologists, specialist nurses, formulary decision-makers, and NHS stakeholders.
* Support the team in navigating local access processes, pathway development, and formulary submissions.
* Ensure high-quality customer interactions and the delivery of scientific value propositions.


Cross-functional Collaboration


* Partner closely with Medical, Market Access, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on field needs and strategic priorities.
* Contribute to brand planning, launch excellence, and tactical execution.
* Ensure effective communication of field insights to national leadership.


Compliance & Operational Excellence


* Ensure IHS activities comply with ABPI Code of Practice and internal governance.
* Oversee regional budget and ensure responsible resource allocation.
* Ensure CRM compliance, accurate reporting, and effective territory planning.
* Establish clear performance governance, using dashboards and metric to monitor execution against account plans and regional objectives

* High-quality implementation of dermatology brand strategy
* Effective development and performance of IHS team
* Strong customer satisfaction and quality of scientific engagement
* Compliance with ABPI Code and internal policies
* Growth in formulary access, patient pathway adoption, and regional opportunities


Qualifications & Experience


Education


* Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field (required)
* Advanced degree (preferred)


Experience


* Significant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
* Leadership experience managing field‑based teams (RBM, District Manager, or similar)
* Strong understanding of dermatology, immunology, or specialty care therapeutic areas
* Deep knowledge of the UK healthcare system, NHS pathways, and access environment
* Demonstrated success coaching and developing high-performing sales/specialist teams
