About the Role
Location: Pembroke Dock. Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Salary: £37,132 - £40,314 (depending on experience and qualifications). This is a Home Manager role for Maes Y Coed, a 5‑flat residential home for adults with autism and complex needs located on the grounds of its sister service, Bangeston Hall. The role involves leading a warm, inclusive, and empowering environment where residents feel valued, respected, and supported.
Your Role
As the Home Manager at Maes Y Coed, you will be the heart of the home and the leader of the team.
* Lead and inspire a dedicated, values‑driven team
* Manage a warm, inclusive, and safe home environment
* Create a culture of respect, dignity, and belonging
* Champion person‑centred care and independence
* Embed Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
* Support and develop staff through coaching and mentoring
* Ensure high‑quality care, compliance, and best practice
* Build strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and professionals
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who leads with compassion, confidence, and integrity.
* QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
* Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager ready to step up as a Home Manager
* Strong understanding of adult care regulations
* Experience supporting adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
* A genuine passion for improving lives
* A full UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS with barred‑list check
