BPA Actuary, Post-Transaction Pricing
Location: London, Birmingham, Edinburgh. Hybrid policy
Salary: Up to £100,000 base + generous bonus
A leading provider and FTSE 100 company are hiring an experienced Actuary to join their successful Solutions team. The team have recently executed a nearly £2bn transaction, and continues to deliver on transactions of this scale.
The role:
* Working directly with Pricing Managers on an increasing book of business
* Work with client services to execute data cleanses, GMPe, and the transition to buyout
* Produce cash flow and pricing models
* Overseeing project delivery in line with contractual and governance requirements, as well as presenting technical content
* Build, develop, document, run and maintain actuarial models
* Train and monitor junior team members
The individual
* FIA. Nearly/ newly qualified and part-qualified are considered
* Strong pensions and general transaction knowledge
* Practical experience of actuarial cash flow modelling
* Modelling GMP benefits
* Member benefit calculations
* Regulatory understanding, including Solvency II and the Matching Adjustment
