As a market leading company in the industrial door sector, NVM are looking to add to their internal sales team based in Nelson.

The candidate must have a confident personality and excellent communication skills via various mediums. Good time management is essential and Sage experience would be preferable, although training will be given to the right candidate.

The role is suited to a driven and self motivated individual who with a passion for customer care who wishes to join an ambitious and dynamic team

The Role

* Communicating with existing customers on a regular basis, building relationships with them and maximising sales.
* Ensuring profit margins are maintained.
* Manage orders from receipt to completion and any necessary aftercare.
* Answering queries and issues from our customers.
* Ensuring customers are informed of lead times and kept up-to-date with progress of their orders
* Liaising closely with the rest of the sales team, warehouse and credit control to ensure that orders are despatched in a timely manner.
* Producing delivery notes and labels for carriers.
* Analysing previous and current customer trends and acting on this information to identify potential sales.
* Developing new customers in the industry.
* Prepare quotations and follow up.
* Answering the telephone and general admin duties.

The Person

We're looking for a confident, communicative individual who can manage both people and processes effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

* A proven sales background.
* Excellent time management skills and proficiency in Sage/Microsoft Office.
* A proactive approach to customer service.
* The ability to carry out detailed administrative tasks and maintain high levels of organisation.

Working hours are 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 - 15:45 on Friday.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year

Education:

* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

* Sales: 2 years (required)
* Customer service: 2 years (required)
