ER Case Manager
UK-Based | National Scope | Flexible Location | Competitive Package
A leading UK organisation operating in a complex, high-profile environment seeks an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager to join a high-performing team.
The Role
You will act as a trusted, independent expert managing sensitive and critical ER casework across a large, unionised, and diverse organisation. Your role will influence reputational risk, cost mitigation, and legal exposure.
You will:
* Lead investigations, disciplinary appeals, whistleblowing cases, and executive complaints.
* Represent the organisation in Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal proceedings, with settlement authority.
* Engage with senior stakeholders including HR Directors, Legal, union reps, and leadership.
* Identify trends and support cultural and behavioural improvements.
* Enhance line manager capabilities through feedback and shared learning.
* Work autonomously within a collaborative national team.
* Support project work including change consultations and organisational design.
The Individual
The ideal candidate will have:
* Deep knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Proven experience managing sensitive ER matters.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Good analysis, judgement, and decision-making abilities.
* Preferably CIPD Level 5 or equivalent legal/employment law qualification.
