Seeking a talented and experienced Water Technical Leader to support water treatment and distribution planning, design, and construction projects throughout the Northeast Region (New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the planning, design, construction, and operation of water-related projects, including supply, treatment, pumping stations, storage, and distribution/transmission. The preferred candidate will have a proven ability to lead a team of engineers and designers to deliver successful projects.

In this role, you will mentor junior staff and interact with key clients. Join our team to help us deliver innovative and successful projects. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Coordinate and oversee pilot studies.
2. Coordinate and oversee condition assessments of water infrastructure.
3. Perform process technology evaluations and selection based on raw water characteristics and flows to meet safe drinking water regulations.
4. Design water treatment plant upgrades (conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs).
5. Design water distribution projects, including pumping stations, storage tanks, and transmission mains.
6. Coordinate civil, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects, guiding architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
7. Support business development activities related to water projects, including strategy and engineering fees.
8. Mentor and develop junior water process and design staff.
9. Participate in professional organizations, including attending and presenting at conferences.
Minimum qualifications include:
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering + 8 years of related experience or equivalent.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license.
* Experience with planning, design, construction, and operation of water projects.
Preferred qualifications include:
* Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
* 10+ years of municipal water planning and design experience.
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
* Strong knowledge of water design codes, standards, and regulations.
* Ability to coordinate with clients, agencies, and the public.
* Commitment to safe project execution.
* Strong organizational skills and teamwork ability.
* Decisive problem-solving skills and technical writing proficiency.
