Job Overview
Adult Eating Disorders Band 7 dietitian – 22.5 hours per week.
Leicestershire Adult Eating Disorders Service is looking for a skilled dietitian with experience in the specialised area of eating disorders, particularly anorexia nervosa. The successful candidate will support the virtual Waterlily Inpatient Prevention Programme – a day‑programme aimed at preventing hospital admission – and will also provide support to the existing outpatient team, and where required, the inpatient dietitian as well.
Responsibilities
* Provide and coordinate specialised dietetic input for the Waterlily programme.
* Conduct thorough dietary assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with eating disorders.
* Monitor and support patients to uphold healthy eating habits and promote long‑term recovery.
* Collaborate within a multi‑disciplinary team, including dietitian, occupational therapist, assistant psychologist and support workers.
* Educate staff, patients and carers on nutrition, challenging disordered eating patterns and dietary rules.
* Prepare and review assessment documentation and progress notes in accordance with NHS standards.
