Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality Functional Skills English and Maths tuition.
2. Assess learners’ current abilities and create personalised learning plans.
3. Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Prepare students for Functional Skills assessments and examinations.
5. Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs.
6. Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and achievement.
7. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
8. Previous experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
9. Relevant teaching, tutoring, or subject-specific qualifications.
10. Strong knowledge of the Functional Skills curriculum.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to motivate and engage learners from a variety of backgrounds.
13. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
