As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in electrical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
Our expertise spans all aspects of electrical engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We deliver industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. We currently have opportunities in our Derby office.
Your Purpose
1. Lead a team in technical design work following relevant standards and quality levels.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
3. Manage time and budgets to meet project milestones.
4. Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What You Can Bring
1. Chartered Electrical Engineer.
2. Experience in leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
3. Knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control, electrical installations, HAZOP, DSEAR/ATEX, and familiarity with UK standards.
4. Proficiency in digital analysis packages like Trimble/Amtech.
