Overview
Flexible People Ltd is seeking experienced 7.5T delivery drivers for a well-known company based in Swanley. Your role will be to efficiently deliver wholesale cleaning products to commercial businesses. Please note that with this role, you may be required to work in vehicles of different sizes from 3.5t to 7.5t.
Responsibilities
* Report to the depot each morning, where your vehicle will be preloaded with various products.
* Complete 20+ multi-drop deliveries per shift, ensuring accuracy at each stop.
* Occasionally complete pallet deliveries and operate a tail lift (experience preferred but not essential).
* Perform heavy lifting and handballing, requiring good physical fitness.
* Provide excellent customer service, as you will be representing the company.
* Deliveries may be in large cities like London and other busy towns.
Requirements
* Be over 21 years old
* Hold a valid CPC and Tacho card
* Have at least one year of recent experience, driving a Class 2 vehicle
* Have no more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR, or NI convictions)
* Be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
* Be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling
Working Hours & Pay
* Monday to Friday
* Start time: 5:30 AM - 6:00 AM
* 9 -11 hour shifts
* £16.06 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Additional Information
* Full-time availability is required.
* Please note, you may sometimes be required to drive a 3.5t vehicle (you will alwauys be paid on a 7.5t rate)
* You must own black or navy smart work trousers, a t-shirt, a high-vis vest, and safety boots.
* Pre-employment electronic paperwork must be completed before starting.
