As the Sales Director for the EU region, you will lead Yapily’s expansion across Europe. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading a sales team in a player/coach capacity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial technology, strong leadership skills, and a proven sales record in a dynamic environment.
Location & Travel:
* This role can be remote in Berlin or Amsterdam, or on-site in London.
* Regular EU travel for client and partner meetings, with occasional trips to London headquarters.
Requirements
* Drive sales from lead generation to closure, achieving revenue targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments in Europe.
* Mentor and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Work with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and regulations in the EU.
* Provide sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the executive team.
Qualifications:
* Experience in sales leadership within financial technology, SaaS, or related sectors; experience in early-stage or scale-up tech companies is a plus.
* Proven success in revenue growth, team management, and strategic partnerships.
* Good understanding of Open Banking and fintech landscape in Europe, with industry contacts.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong leadership and team development abilities.
* Adaptability in fast-paced environments with a solutions-oriented mindset.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
