Overview
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the Commercial team within our Finance Department. In this role you will manage the processing of Commercial’s supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate, timely payments and handling emails to suppliers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Successfully process invoices and credit notes for the suppliers you are responsible for.
* Manage your own and shared Accounts Payable Team email inboxes, moving invoices and queries to the appropriate folders to maintain efficiency.
* Ensure invoices match the purchase order details.
* Set up and maintain supplier accounts, making required changes and ensuring all paperwork is compliant with business requirements.
* Work closely with the Accounts Payable Team and other Finance teams to resolve any raised queries.
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve account queries, interpreting information to respond quickly and accurately.
* Collate and distribute relevant reports within the Finance Department, such as query spreadsheets.
* Record and file all invoices you are accountable for.
* Take responsibility for your workload and tasks, showing a proactive approach and using your own initiative to determine what needs to be completed and when.
Qualifications
* Enthusiastic and self‑motivated with a positive approach to work.
* Ability to adapt to an ever‑changing environment, prioritise a busy workload and be deadline‑conscious.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong, flexible and resilient approach.
* Previous experience in an Accounts Payable team is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Detail‑orientated and meticulous in work.
