Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Dudley MBC) invites an experienced Building Control Professional to join our newly restructured team. Under new management you will manage and progress a broad range of building control projects to successful completion and help grow the service by establishing and strengthening relationships with architects, developers and other existing or potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and progress a broad range of building control projects to effective completion.
* Develop, supervise, mentor and train a diverse team of Inspectors.
* Market the service with exceptional customer service skills and build relationships with architects, developers and other clients.
Salary
* Salary £42,839 to £46,142
* Additional Market supplement of £10,000 (minimum 12 months; professional salary review ongoing)
* Casual Mileage Allowance included
* Total package up to £56,142 subject to qualifications and experience
* Ongoing Building Safety Regulator (BSR) fees paid
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experienced Building Control Professional.
* Must be registered with the Building Safety Regulator to Class 2D and actively working to improve further.
* Maintain registered status with the Building Safety Regulator, including a record of Continuing Professional Development.
