Pay & Hours:
We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.71 for a 39-hour week, working over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to suit your needs.
Job Role:
As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food products according to company standards, while providing excellent customer service. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for progression.
You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervising the team, increasing sales, controlling costs, and building customer loyalty.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet customers and create an inviting atmosphere.
* Receive and check daily deliveries.
* Manage stock and produce.
* Maintain excellent product knowledge.
* Prepare food per specifications.
* Ensure food and produce quality control.
* Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
* Work efficiently within a team.
* Handle cash and operate tills.
* Open or close the shop as needed.
* Manage shifts at various times during the week.
* Drive sales and minimize wastage.
* Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
* Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
