Job Description
We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist provision in Watford, Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
You will work within a supportive leadership team, in a school that values creativity, personalised learning, and strong relationships with pupils and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
* Create and adapt learning resources to support diverse abilities
* Work closely with LSAs, therapists, and external professionals
* Develop and follow EHCP targets, ensuring progress for each learner
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with pupils with SEN (school or specialist settings)
* Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
* Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for SEND education
* Ability to differentiate instruction and manage small-group or 1:1 learning
