About Alzheimer’s Society

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer. One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. We are the UK’s leading dementia charity and tackle all aspects of dementia by giving help and hope to people living with dementia today and in the future. We fund vital support, research and campaigning to make dementia a priority. Our values guide our challenges and opportunities, and reflect what we stand for.

Our commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging: We ensure the voices around our table reflect the communities we serve. We encourage applicants who have a disability, impairment or health condition or who identify as Black, Asian or from other minority ethnic backgrounds, as these groups are currently under-represented at Alzheimer’s Society. We want everyone we work with to feel included and that they belong at Alzheimer’s Society. Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, our internal employee forum and Employee Lived Experience networks promote inclusion and belonging and help us become an engaged and inclusive organisation for all our people.

Our hiring process: We aim to be inclusive in recruitment and ask you to provide information about your experience and any adjustments you may need. If you need application support, contact Alzheimer’s Society Talent Acquisition Team via email. To ensure fairness, all applications are anonymised up to an interview confirmation. We may close applications early if there is high volume. We may conduct a DBS check for relevant roles. We are committed to safer recruitment.

Giving back to you: Our employees receive a range of benefits, recognition and options for working flexibly, plus learning programmes to support development and growth. You can also visit our Working for Us pages for more information about being an employee at the Society.
