The DET Technician plays a key role in ensuring that our workshops, classrooms and specialist spaces remain safe, well-resourced and full of possibilities for pupils and staff alike. Working on a full time (8.00am - 6.00pm Mon-Fri and Sat 8.30 - 1.00pm), Term time plus (37 weeks per year) contract, this role is central to the smooth running of the department, supporting teachers in delivering engaging practical lessons and helping to maintain high-quality facilities and equipment. You will contribute to the preparation of materials, the organisation of workshop spaces and the safe operation of tools and machinery. Alongside hands-on workshop support, the role also offers opportunities to develop skills in digital manufacturing and specialist equipment, enabling you to grow your technical capability within a forward-looking STE Faculty.
