Worcestershire Community Dental services is a county wide service seeing patients on a referral basis, our patients have additional needs such as medically compromised, phobia's, special needs, autism, looked after adults and children. We are looking for a Qualified Dental nurse who is also friendly, reliable, understanding individual who wants to make a difference to the dental care we deliver to our patients. We cover dentistry in patients homes, hospitals and clinic based. We offer treatment via sedation local and general anaesthetics. You will work alongside consultants and specialists and highly experienced dental clinicians, therapists, nurses and receptionists. In our most recent CQC evaluation the community dental team were rated outstanding for caring.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical support in a wide range of treatments for a broad client base.
* Work alongside consultants, specialists, experienced clinicians, therapists, nurses and receptionists.
* Maintain excellent cross‑infection control.
* Provide a welcoming and positive approach for patients and work well in challenging situations.
* Administer sedation local and general anaesthesia as required.
Qualifications
* Qualified Dental Nurse.
* Friendly, reliable, understanding individual.
* Experience or willingness to work with medically compromised patients, phobias, special needs, autism, looked after adults and children.
* Extended duties desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work well in challenging situations.

Working Hours
This is a part‑time post working 30 hours per week. We would consider less hours for the successful candidate but would have to be a minimum of 15 hours.
