The Role
We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our growing fabrication team on a permanent basis at our Rochdale workshop.
You’ll be working on a wide range of bespoke projects, producing high-quality welds in stainless steel and aluminium to exacting customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium components.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedures accurately.
* Ensure high-quality, clean welds that meet customer and industry standards.
* Perform self-inspection and maintain accurate documentation for traceability.
* Work collaboratively with the fabrication and finishing teams to meet project deadlines.
* Maintain safe working practices and a tidy workshop in line with company policy.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven TIG welding experience (stainless steel & aluminium).
* Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
* Previous work in a high-spec fabrication environment (pharma, food, or similar) preferred.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability.
* Coded welding qualifications (desirable, not essential).
