Real Estate Dispute Resolution (REDR) Solicitor (1–5 PQE) – Tier 1 Legal 500
I’m currently working with a prestigious law firm ranked Tier 1 in the Legal 500 for Property Litigation, who are looking to add a solicitor with 1–5 years’ PQE to their highly regarded team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a top-tier practice known for handling complex property disputes involving commercial and residential landlord and tenant issues, development matters, and property investment work.
The role:
1. Join a leading team of REDR lawyers and paralegals
2. Handle a varied caseload with supervision, while taking responsibility for meeting personal fee targets
3. Advise institutional clients, developers, and investors on a broad range of contentious property matters
4. Involvement in business development, training, and client care
The ideal candidate
will bring a strong technical grounding and practical experience in both residential and commercial landlord and tenant matters. This includes:
1. Solid understanding of key legislation such as the Housing Acts (1985 & 1988), Landlord & Tenant Acts (1985, 1987, 1927, 1954), the Protection from Eviction Act 1977, and the Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995
2. Proven ability to manage time effectively to meet client and internal deadlines
3. Excellent client care skills, with the ability to tailor advice to a wide range of clients and commercial objectives
4. Confident drafting skills and strong attention to detail
5. Ability to communicate complex legal information clearly, both in writing and verbally
6. Comfortable working collaboratively within a team and supporting senior colleagues
7. Competent IT skills across key platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel)
