Bank Supported Living Worker – Maryport, Cumbria
Casual / Flexible work – earn £12.60 per hour, plus £50 per shift and great benefits.
Typical shift
* Assisting customers with practical daily living tasks to develop independence and achieve goals documented in their support plans.
* Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and moving onto independent accommodation if able.
* Supporting customers to attend appointments, take part in hobbies and interests, or attend college or work.
* Providing personal care and medication support as outlined in support plans.
* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
* Enjoying conversations with customers – there’s no rushing from one customer to the next.
What you bring
* A Level 2 or above in social care, or willingness to work towards this.
* Passion to support customers to live their best life, with an eye for detail.
* Experience of caring for others – you may have worked in care or cared for family members or children.
* Experience of working on own initiative, remaining calm under pressure and having a resilient approach.
* A flexible, personal approach, listening to customers to understand their needs, recognising every customer is different.
