Maintenance Engineer Shift work isnt for everyone. This role will allow you to have a good night sleep and your weekends will be your own. Its days, Monday to Friday. Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Qualifications or Functional Experience: Formal engineering apprenticeship or level 3 qualifications Wiring regulations Special knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, electronics, mechanical, PLC, and plant-specific details Logical thinking skills for fault finding and sequential plant repair Extensive working knowledge of core plant within the manufacturing area Youll work on electrical and mechanical breakdown resolutions while contributing to challenging projects. Responsibilities include: Preventive Maintenance: As a Maintenance Engineer, conduct routine maintenance tasks to optimise machinery performance and minimise breakdowns. Breakdown Resolution: Respond promptly to breakdowns, utilising your Maintenance Engineer skills to troubleshoot and take action to restore functionality. Safety Compliance: Ensure machinery aligns with safety regulations and standards, applying Maintenance Engineer expertise to take corrective measures as needed. Technical Support: Provide guidance to operators on machinery operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, showcasing your Maintenance Engineer expertise. Continuous Improvement :Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement modifications for optimal performance, utilising your Maintenance Engineer insight. Compliance with Industry Standards: Stay updated on industry standards related to hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, electronics, mechanical, PLC, and plant-specific details, using your Maintenance Engineer knowledge.
