Job Description The primary role of the Security Vetting Administrator is to support the Security Vetting Manager, the Company Security Controller, in the administration of Security vetting activity in the UK, The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide support and process Baseline Personal Security Standard Checks (BPSS) to MOD JSP 440 & the Office for Nuclear Regulation standard pre-employment screening checks. Application for Disclosure Barring Service and Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Checks The process of Houses of Parliament pre-employment screening checks Initiation, guidance, and support to staff completing Counter Terrorist (CTC), Security Check (SC), and Developed Vetting (DV) clearance applications. Clearance administration: Microsoft Access Clearance Database updates on receipt of clearance Confirmation of Clearance Letters to newly cleared staff and contractors Response to confirmation of clearance requests internally or from clients Support on Clearance Aftercare reports and security incident/breach investigations Administration of the national security clearance Security Awareness and Security Operating Procedure training records Leavers Debrief Letter process and spreadsheet updates. Management/Advisory : Security Vetting Administrator will report directly to the Security Vetting Manager but will on occasions support the Company Security Controller and Security Director on request.
