The lawful recruitment of a female for this position falls within the exception allowed by Article 10 (2)(e) of the Sex Discrimination Order 1976) Job Ref 25-171-FSW-WBLO-WEB Job Role Female Support Worker Location Mourneview Court, 151 Glen Road, Belfast, BT11 8BS Salary £12.60 per hour Hours 21 - 35 hour per week contracts available (Rota Based) We are currently offering a Welcome Bonus up to £250 (pro rata): The bonus will be £100 on successful completion of 6 months' service and a further £150 on the first anniversary totalling £250. The Service West Belfast Living Options provides supported living accommodation for adults over the age of 18 with a Learning Disability, complex needs and/or Autism. There are a range of sites including bungalows and apartments across West Belfast. The support provided ranges from 1hr to 24 hrs per day. The support and guidance includes all daily living tasks, personal care and support, leisure, social skills and household management. The Role The role of Support Worker always requires a team approach with effective working relationships for the benefit of the service user. This includes: Assist service users with activities of daily living and facilitate inclusion of service users in a broad range of activities. Support service users with identified personal care and support needs. Support Workers are required to work flexibly and be available to work unsociable hours and public holidays on a rotational basis Benefits Annual Leave 5.6 weeks days pro rata in each leave year (inclusive of statutory days).
