About the role

We are looking for a high-energy, data-driven Head of Operations, Wallet to lead the core financial engine of our global Super App. This role is focused on the operational integrity, liquidity management, and scaling of our digital wallet ecosystem. Your mission is to build a powerhouse wallet infrastructure that resonates with millions of users and to execute aggressive growth strategies that convert "idle balances" into "active ecosystem transactions".

The ideal candidate lives and breathes fintech operations, understands the psychology of digital value exchange, and has a proven track record of managing large-scale wallet or ledger systems for tech products or digital platforms.

What You'll Own

• Develop and execute operational strategies across our wallet infrastructure to drive massive user adoption and direct fund-in/fund-out traffic.
• Lead the creation, documentation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for wallet reconciliations, settlement cycles, and user balance adjustments to ensure consistent execution.
• Establish a governance framework to regularly audit wallet ledger workflows, ensuring that team operations are optimized for maximum financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead the end-to-end management of high-impact wallet lifecycles (P2P transfers, merchant settlements, and rewards distribution) that align with our Super App's multi-service ecosystem (e.g., Finance, Lifestyle, Delivery, etc.).
• Analyse wallet KPIs (Wallet Penetration, Velocity of Money, Rejection Rates) to optimize operational performance. You will be responsible for the ROI of wallet-to-service conversion funnels.
• Foster a loyal internal culture of accuracy through proactive engagement with the Finance and Risk teams to manage daily reconciliations and float requirements.
• Work closely with the Product and Growth teams to align wallet features with new service launches and seasonal promotions.

What You'll Bring

Must-haves

• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in fintech operations, digital wallets, or payment ledgers, preferably within the FinTech or mobile app industries.
• You must have successful case studies demonstrating significant growth in wallet active users and measurable improvements in reconciliation efficiency.
• Deep technical knowledge of digital ledger technology, closed/open-loop systems, and wallet-to-merchant settlement flows.
• Strong experience in establishing SOPs and governance models within a fast-scaling financial tech environment.
• Ability to translate complex transactional metrics into actionable business insights for senior leadership.
• A "Super App" moves fast; you need to be comfortable switching gears between different service verticals and target demographics.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluency in Chinese is a bonus.
