An exciting opportunity has arisen for a teacher of Art and/or Photography to join our outstanding Art & DT department. The department is strong and well-led, offering courses at KS4 & 5 with a well-developed curriculum, a focus on excellent teaching, extracurricular activities, and trips.
The successful applicant will:
* be an outstanding classroom teacher;
* have a proven track record of success at KS3, KS4 & 5;
* understand current educational developments related to classroom practice;
* hold high expectations of students;
* be capable of leading whole-school improvement;
* approach teaching with enthusiasm and positivity;
* possess energy, stamina, and a sense of humor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
* Qualified teacher status/PGCE
* University degree
* Evidence of ongoing professional development
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
* Ability to teach the National Curriculum at multiple Key Stages.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum and KS4/5 courses.
* Ability to develop curriculum resources to meet diverse student needs.
* Strategies to motivate and enthuse students across ability ranges.
* Effective assessment, recording, and reporting techniques.
* Commitment to Assessment for Learning principles.
* Support for Literacy, Numeracy, and IT development.
* Use of ICT in teaching.
* Understanding of subject's role within the wider curriculum.
* Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
* Teamwork skills to promote consistent policies and practices.
