What is Project Selborne?
Selborne, part of Capita’s Public Service division, is a Capita-led project involving world-class partners including Fujitsu, Raytheon UK, and the University of Lincoln. We are delivering a modernised shore-based training programme for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, focusing on modernising teaching and learning by investing in and developing our educators to train the Royal Navy’s personnel effectively.
What kind of work do we do?
We use technology to create immersive experiences of real-life situations, develop better expectations of life on the front line, build modern apprenticeships, review course content, and foster a positive training culture. We are also working on a modernised submarine training centre for the Royal Navy Submarine Training Centre, expected to be completed in 2025. As part of this team, you will help build the future workforce of the Royal Navy.
What’s it like to work with us?
With numerous partners, we value two-way communication. We are highly collaborative, hold regular town hall meetings, and share updates through our newsletter. Your development is important to us, and we often share job openings across partner companies to offer you a broader range of career growth opportunities.
We are an equal opportunity and Disability Confident employer, committed to merit-based recruitment and an inclusive, barrier-free working environment.
