General Operative
Ashby-De-La-Zouch, Leicestershire - LE
Key role and responsibilities for the General Operative:
1. To perform a wide range of jobs, from operating production critical machines to emptying and washing growing houses ready for the next growing cycle.
2. To work under the Farm Supervisor to complete issued tasks
3. To work within our guidelines, ensuring the necessary H&S Policies & Procedures are practiced
4. To work in different environments, the majority of which are carried out indoors
5. To ensure jobs are performed to the required standards within allocated times
6. To report any issues to the Farm Supervisor or Farm Managers
7. To harvest product efficiently, maintaining picking performance and quality levels
8. To ensure your working area is kept clear, clean and tidy
Minimum requirements for General Operative:
9. Physically fit and able to cope with a fast paced environment, multi-tasking when required
10. Able to follow instructions with minimal explanation.
11. Be accurate and methodical
12. Fork Lift experience will be considered an advantage but not essential as training can be provided where required
What we offer for General Operative
13. Pay From £. per hour
14. Overtime from £. after 8 hours/day
15. Piece work rate depending on productivity
16. Monday to Friday and every second Saturday, a short shift
17. 6: until finish/ 8- hours per day
