We are looking for a Senior Content Strategist responsible for building format-specific content strategies, co-leading the Global Content Organization's (GCO) intake process in Europe, evaluating inbound opportunities, developing and green-lighting new series, and leading partnerships with music festival promoters. This role involves collaboration across Amazon Music to develop programs that meet KPIs aligned with GCO's vision.
Key job responsibilities
1. Develop mechanisms to scale GCO initiatives and facilitate new content formats.
2. Use deep knowledge of global content objectives to develop program strategies.
3. Drive business and leadership reviews, aligning cross-functional teams.
4. Lead negotiations and partnerships with festival promoters, managing stakeholders.
5. Partner with Data and Insights teams to develop performance reports and recommendations.
6. Define and oversee content strategy and execution for priority programs, including KPI setting, SOPs, experimentation, reporting, and best practices.
7. Manage program budgets.
8. Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and develop localization strategies.
About the team
Amazon Music's Global Content Organization creates and delivers innovative music-driven video content, including livestreams and pre-recorded formats across Amazon channels.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business.
* Experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
* Experience creating original content.
* Music industry experience.
* Proficiency with analytical tools and metrics analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services.
* Data interpretation and business recommendation skills.
* Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
