Job description: Job overview As Manufacturing Coordinator, youll play a pivotal hands-on leadership role at the heart of our manufacturing operation. Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Shift Managers, youll provide visible leadership and continuity across shifts, helping ensure that daily operations run smoothly, safely and to the highest standards of Health, Safety, Hygiene and Quality. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the shop floor, enjoys solving problems in real time, and wants to make a genuine difference to how teams perform and develop. Youll act as a key link between shifts, supporting consistent people processes, clear communication and strong operational discipline, while also coaching and developing frontline leadership capability. Youll be trusted to take ownership, influence positively across teams, and drive standards not from behind a desk, but by being present, engaged and hands-on. Your profile - Relevant leadership or supervisory experience. -Minimum 2 years in manufacturing or engineering, preferably plastics or food packaging. - Fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing background. - Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. - Excellent team building and employee development abilities. - Knowledge of shift KPIs and operational processes. - Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (BRC/FDA/ISO). - Proficient in manufacturing software, SAP, and Microsoft Office. - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma principles preferred.
