Youll oversee project quality, safety, communication, and financial performance, contributing to the success of both individual commissions and the wider team. Alongside delivering high-quality assessments and reports, youll help shape work‑winning opportunities and drive best practice in line with legislation and industry guidance. Responsibilities
* Leading the delivery of high quality heritage assessments, reports and supporting plans.
* Managing project scope, safety, quality, client communication and finances.
* Providing professional advice on archaeological and historic environment matters.
* Supporting submissions for new work where appropriate.
* Contributing to team planning, business priorities and continuous improvement.
* Helping train, support and mentor colleagues.
* Reviewing and coordinating work across multiple projects to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in archaeology, heritage or related discipline.
* Knowledge and experience of British archaeology, historic buildings and heritage legislation.
* Experience producing high quality reports, including ES Chapters, and managing archaeological projects.
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues.
* Ability to lead projects, prioritise workloads and make informed decisions.
* Commitment to mentoring others and contributing to a positive team culture.
* Motivation to maintain and develop professional knowledge through CPD.
