What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.
The shift pattern is 7.5 hours a day, between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including weekends on rota. Permanent, full-time position, 37.5 weekly hours contract.

187 Nursery Road provides a specialist residential service for all gender identities who have a learning disability, or who are autistic, and have behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be of concern/distress. The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team of Support Workers, led by an experienced Registered Manager.
187 Nursery Road is situated in Sunbury-on-Thames in Surrey and provides five en-suite bedrooms, there is also lounges and a large garden. There are an excellent range of community facilities and amenities close by. Sunbury offers convenient access via the M3, M25 and M4 motorway. Central London is just a 36-minute drive away and is a 12-minute drive from Heathrow Airport.
