Description
* Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions, such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
* Conduct property searches and investigations to identify any legal issues or restrictions affecting the property.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to gather information and update on progress.
* Assist in the completion of the exchange and completion process, ensuring all legal and financial obligations are met.
* Maintain accurate records and case files, ensuring timely and efficient progression of transactions.
* Support solicitors with compliance checks and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Handle client enquiries promptly and professionally.
* Assist with post-completion matters, including registration with the Land Registry.
Profile
* Previous experience in conveyancing or property law is preferred.
* Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
* Proficiency in legal case management software and MS Office applications.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
