Intervention Tutor role at Targeted Provision in Dorset. Core subject options: Maths, English, or Science. SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet varied needs. Targeted Provision aims to transform the quality of education for young people with SEN/SEND and other needs, providing a supportive, trauma-informed tutoring approach.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Work with learners referred by local authorities and schools, providing educational and social-emotional support
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Provide engaging sessions that meet the learner’s needs and support progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (cost support available if needed)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK (including for remote/online assignments)
* Commitment to safeguarding policies and the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people
Employment Status
* Engagement as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payments
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Company insurance covers work for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
