Retail Media Director - Agency / Food Brand - £55,000 - £65,000 The company Global Network Agency based in London, serves as the central team supporting their 250 offices across 95 countries, with a workforce of over 8,000. Their team specialise in communications planning, digital innovation, and client leadership, collaborating seamlessly to support industry leaders. Flexible working policy: 3 days per week in the office. 6 weeks work from anywhere in the world per year. The Role: Primary focus on renowned & leading market Food Brand with whom the agency has a long-standing relationship, but retail media is new. Looking to expand product range and market presence. They have a great relationship with the team, good communication, and are ambitious, driving learning and test & learn etc. The client works with the Agency across all channels. You would be regularly interacting with the Central Digital Media Lead - driving the conversations for Retail Media, you will build an integrated strategy, advise on best practice, technology & infrastructure Spotting interesting trends in the market, have constant communications with the markets & retailers, driving QBR's, being main POC for the client etc. This role is not hands on, but previous experience is beneficial for you to understand those technical conversations with specialists etc. European scope covering six markets including the UK and emerging markets such as Spain, Italy, and Germany. No immediate management responsibilities (might be 1 person currently), but potential for growth depending on client scope and account expansion - they have a top down approach, hiring senior members first & building teams underneath. You: Client service-oriented with a strategic mindset and ability to articulate and implement effective media plans, within Retail Media. Strong communication, relationship building & governance skills, to implement best practice & drive Retail Media forwards Advocating for the client's needs and driving conversations around retail strategies. Experience in Retail Media advantageous, particularly in setting up effective structures and communication channels. Knowledge of the EU digital media landscape is beneficial, especially in areas like paid social, social commerce, and paid search. Experience with retail media and understanding of third-party sellers like Tesco and Carrefour is valuable, in addition to Criteo, Citrus, Amazon. Someone with cross-market experience - understands the different nuances across the EU markets Commercially minded - passionate to learn & grow new areas, always looking for new opportunities to grow areas etc. Appetite to build things & make this happen.
