CNC Setter and Operator – Miller / Turner Location: Kent / Essex Border Salary: up to £35,000 We have an excellent opportunity for a CNC Setter and Operator. Reporting into the Production Manager, the candidate must be experienced in aerospace engineering sector, working with high tolerance parts. They will be required to program, set and run a variety of 1st operation machine tools, CNC machines inclusive of sliding and fixed-head and milling, in line with health and safety legislation. Responsible for coordination of programming and setting to point of satisfactory first off and review current product ranges to improve efficiency of manufacture. The candidate will endeavour to reduce waste and improve productivity, in line with zero defect philosophy, through increased effectiveness and efficiency whenever possible. Please note this is a full time role but work 4 days a week.
