The Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and breakdown work across a range of automated machinery and electrical systems. The Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment on products and systems such as gearboxes, milling machines, electric motors, pneumatics, hydraulics or similar industrial engineering products. Package: £45,000-£49,000 4 on 4 off Shift work (shift allowance) Earning Potential £55k Additional Company Benefits Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role: Provide mechanical and electrical repair, service and maintenance on electromechanical equipment such as milling machines, gearboxes, plant machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics and more. Fault-finding and troubleshooting of factory machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability. Install electromechanical / automation & control machinery into all forms of the manufacturing industry. Perform preventative maintenance checks and ensure accurate data logging Willingness to commute to the workshop based near Wolverhampton Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements: Experience as a maintenance engineer, service engineer, manufacturing engineer, electrical engineer, automation engineer, mechanical engineer, electromechanical engineer within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment. Will have proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment on products and systems such as gearboxes, milling machines, electric motors, pneumatics, hydraulics or similar industrial engineering products. NVQ Level 3 / HNC / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required. Knowledge of Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley PLCs would be advantageous.
