Salary: NJC Grade A: £23,656 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked) Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 12 hours per week, 41 weeks per year. Orchard Vale Community School is looking to recruit a cleaner to start as soon as all recruitment checks are complete. The successful candidate must have cleaning experience, and we are seeking someone who is hardworking and reliable. This is a part time permanent position working 12 hours per week Monday to Friday, between 3.36pm to 6pm. It is a 41-week contract, which includes a 1-week clean in the Easter holidays and a 2-week clean in the summer holidays. You should be: Enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable. Be committed to maintaining high standards of cleaning in your area and throughout the school. Be flexible within the cleaning team to assist other cleaners when needed. Training will be provided. The successful candidate will be working in a team of other cleaners and will be line managed by the Head Cleaner and Head Teacher. They will have the responsibility for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in our buildings through daily duties. These duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, and washing floors, dusting, and polishing, cleaning lavatories, and removing rubbish.
